Sales Manager

Job summary:

The Sales & Client Success team have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Sales Manager to join TDS and lead all new business activity selling our products to letting agents in England and Wales. Our products include rental deposit and client money protection.

Reporting to our Head of Sales & Client Success, you’ll be a results driven team player with proven experience to bring in new business. So, if you’re interested in selling and/or letting property, we’d love you to make the move with us!

Where you’ll work

Your home office will be our modern office space in Hemel Hempstead. Flexible working with 1 or 2 days a week in the office with the balance connecting with customers and partners.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement a sales strategy to secure new customers into each of the products
• Manage and develop a team of inside (phone, chat, email, video) and outside sales (face to face) executives including coaching and reviews
• Create sales forecasts, analyse performance and report on progress to targets
• Lead continuous improvement of sales processes, using our CRM solutions to drive
efficiency and performance
• Manage the sales pipeline from making contact to onboarding customers
• Build trusted relationships with new customers and partners (e.g., property software
providers) with a sound understanding of our products
• Contribute innovative marketing ideas to drive lead generation
• Attend industry events to promote our products and build the sales pipeline
• Use customer feedback to continually improve our product and service offering
• Keep updated on market conditions and competitor activities

What you’ll bring

• At least 3 years’ experience managing a high-performing inside and outside B2B sales team
• An ability to build great relationships with customers, partners and colleagues
• Must be a strong market share winner
• Estate agency (sales and/or lettings) experience is highly desirable
• Excellent written and communication skills including high standards of service and
• Tech savvy with experience of CRM solutions (e.g., Salesforce) and integration
• Resilient, positive, organised, numerate and detail oriented
• Full UK driving licence
