ARLA Exhibition and Conference 2016

On Tuesday 12 April we attended the ARLA Conference and Exhibition - launching our new custodial tenancy deposit scheme TDS Custodial and talking to existing and potential customers about our TDS Insured scheme.

ExCel was an excellent new home for the ARLA Conference and Exhibition and we enjoyed talking to all the other exhibitors on stands near to us on F7.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the keynote presentations and conference sessions and we had some great delegates and visitors to talk to during the breaks.

We had some of our adjudication staff on the stand and visitors were very interested to find out about the adjudication process and the principles behind some of the decisions that are made.

Visitors were also keen to hear about the Tenant Changeover Function in our new Custodial scheme - a very useful function - we had a video playing which illustrated how quick and easy it was to upload a deposit and use the Tenant Changeover Function.

We were also telling people about a brand new Tenancy Deposit Qualification - developed by TDS with NFoPP Awarding Body. It is called the NFoPP Level 3 Techncial Award in Residential Tenancy Deposit Protection Management (England and Wales) and offers agency staff the insight to thrive in a competitive market. Workbooks are provided by MOL - MOL Property Courses

We also provided information on the TDS Academy. TDS is committed to raising standards in the industry by reinvesting surpluses in education and training through the TDS Academy and Charitable Foundation.

We ran two competitions at Tuesday's event and are delighted to announce that our prize of a View From The Shard and Michelin Dining for Two was won by Sarah Mustoe of Neil Douglas Lettings.

And a prize of all the Workbooks for the new TDP Qualification sponsored by MOL and the exams, sponsored by ourselves was won by John London of Boydens Sales & Lettings (pictured left being presented with the workbooks by TDS Chief Executive Steve Harriott).

We look forward to seeing everyone again at next year's event on 28 March 2017.
