TDS Strengthens Board

The Tenancy Deposit Scheme has announced the Board appointments of disputes and compliance expert Jodi Berg and Chief Executive Steve Harriott. This has been welcomed as providing additional specialist support for the Scheme going forward.

Jodi Berg is the Independent Complaints Reviewer to the Homes and Communities Agency and the Tenant Services Authority among other organisations and was Independent Case Examiner for the Department of Work and Pensions for several years. With a background as a solicitor and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, she is also a member of the Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council.

Steve Harriott became TDS Chief Executive in September and joined from a housing association background which included being Chief Executive of the Origin Group and AmicusHorizon.

Said TDS Chairman Martin Partington, “These Board appointments mean that, going forward, the Board can support the specialist requirements of dispute resolution as well as    general operations, the existing needs of an insurance backed scheme and the shareholders.”
