TDS Director elected to Ombudsman Association executive committee

Michael Morgan, TDSTDS Director of Dispute Resolution Michael Morgan, has been elected to the Ombudsman Association's executive committee.

He now represents complaint handler and associate members of the OA.

Having trained as a solicitor, Mike has been involved in dispute resolution for over 20 years, including senior positions at Trading Standards and at Qualitas, the Furniture Ombudsman, and joined TDS in 2006.

Michael said: “The role the Association plays in enabling ombudsmen and complaint handlers to share best practice through its networks and interest groups is an invaluable one and I’m very pleased to have the opportunity to support the delivery of that for all our members.”

The key roles of the Ombudsman Association are to promote an effective system of complaint handling and redress, to promote and develop the role of ombudsmen, promote best practice, and to support open and transparent accountability and endorse principles of good complaint handling.

TDS is a complaint handler member of the Ombudsman Association meaning it has significant experience in dealing with disputes and operates in accordance with the Principles of Good Complaint Handling.
