Senior TDS Position Filled

 

The Tenancy Deposit Scheme has appointed Ben Beadle to the new post of Head of Member Relations. In this new and senior position he will be responsible for understanding and implementing ways to help the membership use the Scheme efficiently and cost effectively.Picture of Ben Beadle

Ben, who joined the Tenancy Deposit Scheme in 2008, has been promoted from Casework Scrutiny Manager, where he was responsible for the review and adjudication of disputes.  

 In that role he also acted as Client Relationship Manager for Unipol, helping to implement its bespoke student deposit protection scheme and running day-to-day liaison between the two organisations.

Before joining TDS, Ben was lettings manager for a leading independent west London estate agency. He has also spent over ten years as a football referee, officiating on the Ryman League and Football Conference as well as holding posts for the Middlesex FA. 

Commenting on his appointment, Ben said, “I believe my career to date has been an ideal preparation for understanding the needs of our members and how the Scheme can best help them to achieve their goals while providing tenancy deposit protection for their landlords and tenants.”

Steve Harriott, Chief Executive of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, said, “We have designed the position of Head of Member Relations to be a very senior part of our management team and we are delighted that Ben has taken on the job.”
