New Deputy Head of Adjudication for Tenancy Deposit Scheme

Alison MacDougall PhotoAlison joined the Scheme at its inception in 2007 as Deputy Independent Case Examiner following ten years experience in complaints handling and alternative dispute resolution. This period included four years as a public appointee as a Commissioner and Board member to the Police Complaints Commission and extensive adjudication experience with the Parliamentary and Health Services Ombudsman and the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education.

Before entering public service, Alison held a series of senior management positions as an analyst in the financial services sector.

Commenting on the appointment, Mike Morgan, Head of Adjudication for the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, said, “I am delighted to announce Alison MacDougall’s appointment. This will allow us to consolidate the adjudication team’s excellent work in meeting our performance targets for adjudication.

“It is also the latest in a set of key management appointments that have been made with customer service in mind,” he added.
